Delish! We had a wonderful server (ask for Lakin) ... the knots were yummy. Marinara sauce is pretty sweet .. which is my preference and thought it was the bomb. All toppings are fresh and sliced thinly. .. highly recommend pizza. Will be back again .. it was our first time. We went to the one in westley chapel.

The pizza is good, but a little more expensive than other places. They do not deliver. I like how they open the box to show you the pizza when you pick it up so you never get home to discover that you were given the wrong thing!

The pizza was pretty decent, but not true New York pizza. For one thing the prices are too expensive. I probably won't go back.

Pizza was ok, much better then Amy chain but Def not the ny nj pizza I'm used to from living in jersey whole life. At 18$ a pie I would expect a little more however still better then most down here.

Disappointed.... I had been wanting to try this place for a while and finally had a chance to last weekend and was pretty let down. I ordered a 14" White Formagio Pizza, a 14" Meat Feast Pizza, dozen garlic knots, calamari and a 2 liter soda for take out. Total was around $55. The garlic knots were just to garlic-y, no salt whatsoever, tasted like eating a semi-warm garlic clove. The portion size of the $9.99 calamari made me feel a bit ripped off. The pizzas were good, just nothing spectacular. Not what I expected from a place called "Best NY Pizza". Maybe I expected too much but I don't see myself coming back when there are better tasting pizza places in Wesley Chapel.

On 2/04/2015 my family inquired about a medium tray of meatballs and spaghetti and a small tray of eggplant Parmesan for company in town. The owner told my Mom he could do it but it would cost her $200.00. She laughed and told him she would go to Amichi's down the road. Amichi's only charged her $100.00. Amichi's was also REAL Italian food. Today, 2/06/2015 my boyfriend and I stopped in after dropping our son off at my Mother's and the waitress walked out with two completely burnt pizzas and asked, "if you don't want these I can make new slices. Can you eat these?" There is no possible way I would ever have brought out food I wouldn't eat myself! The food is not the "best" as they claim and nowhere near true NY or Italian! Don't waste your money, they're a rip off.

The pizza was good, I didn't care for the garlic knots. A little pricey. I'd probably come back.

Really good pizza and cold beer for a weary traveler. My daughter and I each got a 10" pizza- me white formaggio, her all meat and both were delish!! Only reason for 4 stars vs 5 was the garlic knots were not fresh or warm. Would recommend highly!!

  • Milania D.

We always order the "Best" pizza on a gluten free crust (ask for it extra crispy) and it's awesome!! We've also had non GF pizza (White and Sicilian) and loved it. The calamari and meatballs are great starters and the staff is always very friendly and accommodating. Great little family joint!

The only problem with this place is ... I need to stop eating so much PIZZA!!!! Its that good. I would recommend this place to everyone and anyone.. Service is always great and the place is cozy..Perfect Pie Joint!!! Margarita pizza is My personal fave!!!

  • Allyson M.

All three of us felt food was Yuk.... mushy crust, Margherita pizza was totally disappointing...(fresh mozzarella NOT) barely warm, nothing was hot, pepperoni pizza with oil slick on top and mushy crust, eggplant parm. was tasteless mush, chicken parm. was fair, Cannoli stale, Zeppole stix completely soggy (stale/old)....We could go on.... We will definitely stick with Amici Pizza (always great) just down the street and not as expensive.

Very good Pizza I am originally from NY and most of the Pizza Joints in Tampa are horrific they claim to be NY style but fail to deliver. One time I came here and the Pizza was over cooked they immediately remade it and made it perfect. No one is perfect but they get an A for effort. Love there Pizza and have eaten there several times very good service and most importantly they clean the restaurant from top to bottom. That is important to me

I just recently moved the Wesley Chapel. I was in search of the best chicken wing spot, not really caring for the usual beef o Brady's and some other smaller places. I decided to try New York's best pizza for their chicken wings .I was glad I did. by far the biggest ,meatest and best cookd chicken wing in the area .sauces are pretty good .i chose to get them naked and put whatever sauce I want on them at the house. that being said ,I ordered a stuffed shells dinner for 14.99 one evening for my lady ,wasn't really well done and for 14.99 .I won't be ordering it again. but the chicken wings are what I'll come back for again and again

We ordered pizza and wings from Best NY for the first time tonight. I have been wanting to try them but was holding off because I was afraid of being disappointed and having my hope for a decent Pizzaria in the area dashed. The pizza was the second best pizza I have ever had outside of NYC!!! The crust was thin and perfect. The cheese was high quality and had that chewy mozzarella bite that you do not get with the other chain and other independent pizza places in WC. The do it right by only using a small amount of sauce and there was plenty of good spicy quality pepperoni We also ordered wings which were cooked crispy and were sauced the right way like true buffalo wings should be done. Combo of large pizza, 12 wings and a 2 liter soda for under $20 with tax and free delivery!!! Thank you Best NY Pizza for coming up to Wesley Chapel!!

  • Walter P.

Friendly staff and great new addition to Wesley Chapel. I wouldn't say better than amici's but good and great garlic knots.

    (4)
  • Stacy J.

Started with garlic knots- they charge you individually and tasted like plain bread, not buttery and full of fresh garlic like I had hoped. Nothing special. Ordered some wings, they came out a little under done for my liking but we're still edible. I had ordered hot sauce on the side and the server forgot it. I don't know how seeing as we were the ONLY table in the restaurant. Next we had the meat pizza- it was ok- I felt like the ingredients tasted cheap and the pizza was covered in grease. Better places in the area for pizza.

  • Sam F.

Tried whole pizza for first time there. Not that good, as it was dry and overbaked. Not that many folks there, several pickup orders .. no excuse .. Someone should provide quality control before sending food out .. forgettaboutit ... Better pizza at Amicci's

    (2)
  • Chris L.

I wouldn't know if the food is any good. I ordered my pizza for pickup, and I was told it would be 20-25 minutes. I arrived 40 minutes later, and it wasn't done yet, even after I waited in line for over 5 minutes to attempt to pick it up. So, needless to say, I left with no pizza, and will never be back. I knew that I should've gone to Amici's in the first place

    (1)
  • Scott H.

Guess I don't like NY pizza because this pizza was awful . Swimming in sauce and burnt on one side. May be NY's Best but is Wesley Chapel's worst.

The best pizza we've had in Florida. It's always hot, fresh and really delicious and we are so picky about our pizza. We have been waiting for a good pizzeria to be within driving distance and finally they have! We go there all the time. Sometimes just for a slice at lunch and quite often with friends and family. We've gotten to know the staff and they are always super welcoming, warm and efficient. We have recommended it to so many people and I have not had one person complain. They've all loved it. Some have made a point of contacting me later and thanking me for sending them. Fantastic food, fantastic service, beautiful, relaxed atmosphere, what's not to love!

Just ordered carry out from the 'Best NY pizza' place that just opened up. I ordered a medium pizza with various toppings, small margarita pizza and boneless chicken wings. The best thing was by far the boneless chicken wings, which is a bit sad for a pizza place. The medium pizza; you call yourself a New York pizza joint, but the crust was much too thick of a crust to be known as NY style pizza, the flavors were good but they didn't wow us compared to other places. The margarita pizza might have been the worst margarita I have had in years. This pizza was extremely too cheesy for the type of pizza a margarita is supposed to be. I didn't finish it as I would rather save my stomach from an ache then eat nothing but block of cheese on a pizza. I honestly would not go back to this place anytime soon, and it's not because it sucked on flavor, I think it's just unattractive for them to only deliver on orders over $100 and the pizza is higher cost in general. Also, I factor in the pizza taste overall and I see that their are at least 6-7 pizza places I can go to that is in the neighborhood of 5 miles. I don't know if i can say any other names without my review being flagged but there is a NY pizza joint about 3 miles away from this place that delivers free of cost, on any order price and their pizza tasted much better and more like a thin crust NY pizza. My spouse and I order pizza on a constant basis which is why we decided to order at this new pizza place (Best NY Pizza). It's shame it didn't wow us more because we are so close to this place, it could've been our new go-to place for pizza. We would be open to trying this place a couple months down the road if some things change.

I don't think they're kidding with the name. Definitely the best pizza I've had in FL, so possibly in NY, as well. I will DEFINITELY recommend the white pizza. Probably the best pizza I've ever had. Haven't really had anything else but I'm sure it's good!

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
